Rubber stuffing box

It guarantees long-lasting insulation against water infiltration, with low maintenance if correctly treated.
It is made of a special rubber resistant to salt water and grease.
The product is supplied complete with AISI 316 stainless steel clamping band and special lubricant for the shaft line.
The stuffing box normally works below the waterline and is lubricated and cooled by water. If it works above the waterline or at the limit, cooling with an external source of water is essential.
Version A: with brass hose nozzle for external water lubrication (if not used, a brass cap is supplied) hole with brass cap for greasing.
Version B: without hose nozzle and greasing hole.
