Description
Carbon monoxide is generated by internal combustion engines. A generator with a defective exhaust that releases exhaust gases into the bilge can be extremely dangerous to the occupants.
The CMD-5 uses a microprocessor-based sensor to detect CO levels. Using the TWA process, it determines the CO concentration, time and temperature to calculate the precise alarm point based on the COHb.
- New generation electrochemical sensor that avoids false alarms. Very low consumption (1 mA). Sensor life about 7 years.
- Several detectors can be interconnected.
- Optional generator shutdown relay.
