Motor and ignition circuit are protected in a watertight cylinder, sheltered from water and the corrosive environment of the bilge. Solid copper power contacts, maintenance-free composite foot, hardened spiral bevel gears.
The combined use of a maneuvering propeller with a stern thruster gives a greater level of control when maneuvering in difficult conditions or tight corners. It becomes possible to tack in place or even moor the boat sideways.
